Our journey began as part of Tronrud Engineering. Since 2022, 3D PRODUCTION AS has been an independent company, fully dedicated to industrial additive manufacturing.
2011
Additive manufacturing work begins within Tronrud Engineering, exploring AM for high-precision industrial components.
2012
The first commercial 3D printed product is delivered.
2017
The first AM-produced component is supplied to Equinor.
2022
3D PRODUCTION AS is established as an independent company dedicated to additive manufacturing.
The years 2011–2017 describe the history of the team’s AM work within Tronrud Engineering. 3D PRODUCTION AS was founded as an independent company in 2022.
